Misting/water bowl

Hi, didn’t know what section to put this.. just got my beardie, and was curious when I mist him/ water bowl. Should the temp for that be 85-90 F? Or what? Been trying to figure this out and haven’t found anything really.. Thanks!

Usually luke warm water works, its warm but not boiling hot or uncomfortable. However with water bowls you cant keep it at that constantly i dont think. I've never misted my beardies since for me its just easier to give them a bath every other day and i already have high humidity in my room so adding to that would just make it worse for me.

Hi there, the temps. in the tank are crucial for good health. There must be enough room in the tank so that one side [ the basking area ] gets up to about 105, the cool side about 80. In between it would naturally range from the 80's to 90 or so.

When I was raising babies I sprayed them every day, not a heavy misting but a light direct stream directly on the head/snout. Some people use an eyedropper, I used a spray bottle like in this video :

Mine drank like that every day as babies [ this is not my video ] as they grew they would drink less , as adults they do now about every 10 days. Most beardies won't drink from a bowl unless they are right near it + water is dripped in it to attract them.

I do the same but using a plastic syringe to drip water on my dragon's nose. I just use room temperature filtered water (same as what I drink) and it works well. You don't want to offer cold water.
