Meet JuJu **4/4 we're growing like a weed! pg5**!

To make a long story short, my husband and I purchased our first BD back in early January. It certainly hasn't been without it's trials and tribulations (lighting, No appetite, etc). But since JuJu is back to his normal babied "love me" self, we figured we finally introduce him: ).
From JuJus point of view.

> I don't like baths but mom can get me to swim

> I watch too much tv
> I like real people movies instead of animated ones

I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack when he saw me picking up Ju off the floor. We're glad he's fine too, he's been a bit grumpy and depressed with the cold weather lately. Poor thing. He is getting so big! He's around 90 g now, and almost 13 in! We were looking a pictures when we first got him compared to now!

He does have a long tail, and that picture of him on the towel rack is so cute, but I'm sure you & your hubbie's hearts were hammering when he took that flying leap. I think they think they have wings, honest. And it doesn't stop just because they're young. Mine take flying leaps off the counter, or try to, all the time!

He definitely is all tail, always has been. We thought he'd grow out of it, not so much lol. It give him character though. He does what we call the curious tail or hunting tail. It's definitely an expression all his own because he curls it upward when something is interesting, he's curious or hunting dubi (thing go kart with a flag and That's what it looks like lol). Oh god yes! I tried to catch him but he was quick.Funny enough he got some pretty good air hang time. I think...he thinks he part sugar glider lol.

When Rosie was still a juvie, she's curl her tail up when she was going after crickets. She would only eat about 8 or 9 crickets ever other day. She refused them when she saw Goldie eating superworms. She ate 8 superworms on Tuesday morning, fairly early. I think she's working on eggs. I can only hope that when she does lay eggs, it will be a one shot deal, as it was the first year she laid eggs. The second and third years she had slept less the winter before then she slept the first winter when we figured out she wanted to sleep, so that's why she laid eggs less last two years, I believe. This last year she slept more so I'm thinking (hoping) I won't have to worry much. She's never really laid multiple clutches of eggs, which is a relief for us.

Hmm! Well fingers crossed for a successful clutch: )! We want a female later down the line. but I am terrified of doing something wrong (and it being detrimental )when it comes to that time (egg laying). From what I've read and the excerpts Deb has shared with me, there's a lot of husbandry that goes into taking care of sexually mature female dragons.

Goodness! I haven't updated in forever! It's been a busy two weeks for my hubby and myself! But as of today 3/8/14 JuJu is 14 inches long and 108g! His colors are a definite orange and yellow with a bronze stripe by his eye. They aren't showy in pictures yet, but I hope they do soon! He has met my momma and is king of his domain on his pillow: ).

My mom was in our end of town and we went out to lunch, so introfixed the two. He cuddled up to her immediately lol.

He's the biggest snuggle bug: ). He's not too happy with us right now as we have a new house mate. My hubby rescued a bunny and Jus favorite thing to Nibbler is antagonize him.

Oh yes! Lol though he can't complain. He still is taken out just as much, still spoiled rotten and let loose around the living room. He's just being a brat lol. He will stare down Nibbler most of the afternoon though. For once Nibs has had enough of Ju and decided hiding was a better option lol; poor bun.

Phew! It's been a busy month! Sorry I haven't posted in a while but we're back: )

Measured our little JuJuBug is 15.5 inches and 153g! His colors are definitely prominent!

He's sucked into Lord of the Rings: Return of the King lol
