They aren't very good. They have very little nutrition and the chitin (shell) is thick and hard on a beardies stomach. I would avoid them. There are much better feeders on the market. :)

No, they are not. They present a high risk of impaction, especially to younger beardies.

I ran out of crickets once, and while I was waiting for my order to come, I fed Budo a few too many mealies, and he became minorly impacted. 30min baths daily, syringe-fed babyfood daily, plus massages and time on the heat pad. And a lot of worrying. And he was only minorly impacted; it can get a lot worse than that. Trust me, mealies are a waste of money and a risk to your dragon's health.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
