Hi, my bearded dragon Zeus has been avoiding his heat lamp lately, but he still eats. I took him out today and noticed that on his right shoulder, (on the top of him) there is what looks like a bone coming up more than the one on the right. Could he possibly have MBD? Also, he has a reptisun 10.0 uvb.

Please share a photo of the spot, and a couple full body shots if you can.

In the mean time, a few questions will help folks understand Zues situation.
How old is the UVB, how far away and is it a tube?
What is your dragons diet and supplement schedule?

I actually just got a new uvb a couple of weeks ago, because the old one was around 9 months old. The tube is about 5 or 6 inches away from where he basks. I feed him dubia roaches, and I put calcium and vitamin powder on them (I switch every other day). I also feed him canned pumpkin and squash (no supplements).

I'll also post the pictures soon.

MDB takes a while to develop and just avoiding the light for a little while wouldn't be enough to cause it. Too old a light might cause problems, but deformities are usually advanced cases. Does he get any greens, or just the squash and pumpkin? Vitamins are better to use just 2x a week.

However, someone might have some insight into the bump still!

He used to eat greens, but he stopped eating them and would only eat mostly squash and sometimes pumpkin.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
