I'll tell her what I told Redrock when we caught her in a similar position (different fixture) "Silly girl, you can't get any uvb that way! you need to be under the light!

funny thing was, Deb, this was before we realized how impossible it is to keep the temps regulated when their basking spot is a bedroom window. She was gaping because when she was sitting on top of the uvb fixture, she was getting sun from the window. :lol: sniff! I still miss her. I'm thankful we had her as long as we did.
