This stuff is nothing more than a D3 supplement. A slightly more concentrated dose perhaps than what comes in calcium with d3 but still it is not a replacement for UV light. The package is very missleading and does not even come close to the truth. Granted reptiles use uv rays to convert and use calcium in their body and create vitamin D3 but using a d3 supplement to replace sunlight would kill your anima. it is ashamed that a company puts this out. Just use the montra "If it sounds too good to be true than it is too good to be true"

oh i know, i was just wondering if incase the power here in illinois goes off, b.c in winter there is almost no sun mostly clouds..
