Lilly and Lyla

I finally got my new baby today! She has done great so far. Other than a dark belly she has shown no signs of relocation stress. At 6 months and 104 gm, she ate a meal that would have rivaled my boyfriends 10 month old, 314 gm dragon. She had hornworms, butterworms, and crickets. We actually had to cut her off on cricket because I stupidly bought some that were way to big (we picked out the littlest ones). I have already taken several pictures so I just have to share. I will be updating this post periodically with more pictures and stories. (I have to add my funny cricket story here. Yesterday I went to feeder's supply to get crickets because I won't be able to get bulk until monday. A girl in her 20s or so was helping me. She had jeans on with torn knees. As she was almost done with my crickets she says "Oh my gosh". "What?" I asked. "A cricket just crawled into my pants." She hurried off to go take care of it and another worker came to finish my cricket order. I found it hilarious).

We have eggs too. Real eggs, Pheonix layed them Easter night 20 of them. This is our first cluch and we have them in the incubator in vermiculite. Of corse now we have onily 30 days left till hatching!!! Im so excited. Getting everything all redy for the babies. Injoy your Easter eggs and I will definatly injoy mine.

Thank you albitjerz! We thought Lilly had infertiles, but now I think they are just egg follicles. Lance, I am literally on my way out the door, I'll try to get them up soon, but no promises I work Friday night and all day Saturday. Barbara, I'll change the title when I do pics.

Lol yes, it is very odd. She was full-out attacking the worm cup after 10 supers and 20 roaches. I gave her one more worm and told her if she was still hungry she could eat her salad. If looks could kill lol!!

Hehe - ear shed is weird - and how it all comes off all spiky round the edges and then this 'smooth' bit in the middle!!! Nose shed is my favourite tho - my fiance never noticed it until Kazi scratched it off on his hand about a month ago - he had such a panic - 'something icky just came out of Kazi's nose!! What is it?? WHAT IS ITTTTT!!' lol!


Shes just so pretty Sara!!! Her colours are really 'popping' at the minute!! I have to agree - that first pic is tooo funny, Michelle described the look on her face, perfectly!!

Yeah, the ear sheds are cool, the nose sheds are unbelievable, some being an inch long, that has to feel terrible!! MissT, that's so funny about your fiance' said about them. :mrgreen:

Lol some time I may have to try to get a video of her tryin to get more wormies. I find it funny that she used to give me the evil eye when I fed those to her and now she is attacking the worm cup to get them! It's was hilarious because she just couldn't figure out why she couldn't get the worms. I'm such an awful mommy takin pictures before comforting her lol. She's sound asleep now, fell asleep on mommy's bed and I just moved her to her own.

Quick update on Lilly- she seems to be STARVING. She was awake before lights on this morning and I had to be out the door by 8, so I stuck a bowl of 10 supers in and a full bowl of salad and berries in with her. This was at like 7:40. I walked in no more than 5 minutes later and every single worm and half the salad/ berries were gone. Well I got a call at 1 from my mom askin if I had fed Lilly that morning, I told her I had and she said the bowl was totally empty and Lilly was acting like she was starving. So my mom filled the bowl back up and when I came home it was once again nearly empty :shock: . She NEVER finishes one full bowl of salad, let alone two!
