Lilly and Lyla

I finally got my new baby today! She has done great so far. Other than a dark belly she has shown no signs of relocation stress. At 6 months and 104 gm, she ate a meal that would have rivaled my boyfriends 10 month old, 314 gm dragon. She had hornworms, butterworms, and crickets. We actually had to cut her off on cricket because I stupidly bought some that were way to big (we picked out the littlest ones). I have already taken several pictures so I just have to share. I will be updating this post periodically with more pictures and stories. (I have to add my funny cricket story here. Yesterday I went to feeder's supply to get crickets because I won't be able to get bulk until monday. A girl in her 20s or so was helping me. She had jeans on with torn knees. As she was almost done with my crickets she says "Oh my gosh". "What?" I asked. "A cricket just crawled into my pants." She hurried off to go take care of it and another worker came to finish my cricket order. I found it hilarious).

I also really enjoyed the fetch the worm game and Malibus lovin it to....her beard turns bright yellow....and you can see the pride on her face like....hey did you see me RUN after that worm???

Oh how scary about the bee! Lilly wouldn't let me play the "fetch the worm" game today, but immediately tipped the bowl over as soon as she saw it and ate the worms right out of it :shock: . She was a hungry girl. We went to an art fair today and I was amazed at the number of people who asked "IS IT ALIVE?!" She was a big, I could hardly look at the art for all the people wanting to love on Lilly and know more about my "iguana". I even met a lady who was telling me about a woman with a two-headed bearded dragon who was on Animal Planet :mrgreen:

I bet Lilly loved all the attention...I know mine do...they are nothing but attention hounds. Checkers likes to see cameras coming at him I swear he strikes a pose everytime. :lol:

My son took malibu to the neighbors last night to visit...i asked how did she act?He goes like a cat she just lounged out and checked everyone out..When she got home it was bed time and she didn't want to be in her burrito she wanted to sleep standing up on the sofa????
