Lights, 12 hours or 14 ?

What is the best for bearded dragons, to leave the lights on for 14hrs or 12 ?
Some say 14, others say that is bad for them and only 12 is needed, then i heard that 10 is best...can get confusing at times..lol

There are a lot of ideas about this. I think if the lights are on too long they just find a hide or some shade and go to sleep. I tend to change the lighting depending on the season. In the summer the lights are on for around 14.5 hrs and in the winter it's closer to 11.5.

Thanks. I have it on 14hrs at the moment, as its summer, might knock it back to 12 in the winter.
