Hey guys im just wondering I had my beardies basking spot about 18 inches from their uvb/uva bulb (due to the enclosure) but I had to improvise and have it about 10-12 inches from the spot depending if they are perched up and basking is that to close I dont wanna blind them but i also want them to get all the uvb and vitamins they need I also noticed it made their "cool spot" darker sense the uvb/uva is moved closer I used 2 different ruler and tape measures to make sure it was correct and its also not compact its a zilla reptisun 10.0 18 inch 15w fluorescent bulb not even a week old yet ?

I have a screen top but the fixture/bulb is inside fastened to the screen so nothing is blocking the uvb/uva the basking bulb is on top on the outside in case it needs to be changed when needed for a lesser/greater strength bulb
