awwww I'm thrilled she perked up was excited about her crickets again I know you were happy to see that. I can imagine how frustrating it is to have her not really pay any attention to you, and how much that makes you worry about her. Hopefully it is all just related to brumation though. Hope things are getting better for you as well. Thanks for the update!!

Hi Jason, It's been a long time, glad to hear that LG is eating. I thought maybe she became blind until you said she was glass dancing at the crickets, that's an encouragement.
I know you've gone through alot lately, I think this has been a tough year for alot of us, so please know that we're all pulling for you here, hang in there, LG needs you...............

The fact that LG ate the crickets could only mean that she's getting better, getting back to her ol' self. YAY!

Jason, please don't feel so sad. You need to talk to someone (friend, family, clergy, bartender [why not]) about what you're feeling, both in your head and your heart. It's always best to release those emotions.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...

It looks like LG is starting brumation now. I've been turning on the lights like regular but for the past 7-9 days she hasn't left her cave or accepted food/water from within her cave.

I will continue to turn her lights on I guess, I'll get yelled at for wasting electricity but it's worth it right? I'll also try to be a little more forcefull when offering water next time. Maybe open her lips and drop some in there.

Hi Jason -- hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving -- I know you'll worry about LG while she brumates, but I would offer her the water just a little every day, either that or bathe her -- from what I understand, proper hydration is key for safe brumation. Thinking of you, and hoping things are getting better :mrgreen: hugs from Ohio!

LG has been out the last couple days, she's even been sleeping out of her hide.

Got her to eat 6 or 8 crickets with calcium plus a good amount of water.

She's hanging in there, without going to the vet that's all I can say for sure. Still dragging herself around, pretty weak. I still think she had a stroke or seizure of some kind, but I don't know.

Anyone know how often I have to worry about this egg thing? How often do BDs lay infertle eggs?

Anyhow, I'll be getting that vid uploaded soon: Stay tuned.

Thanks for sharing that video, eating's a good sign, Jason. Most dragons are slowing down right now or just sleeping. She eating more than our dragons right now. So YEAH.
