I do not have any critical care formula. I did, but it was a bad brand (repti-aid) and I was told not to use it last time when I bought it for another lizard(basilisk)...

I have been letting him find his own spot, but lately he doesn't seem to want to move. He was hanging out at different parts of the cool side but I think he was just struggling to get up to the warm side, so I moved him there.

He hasn't really moved from that spot since and it's been quite a few hours. I think I am going to move him one level down to the middle of his cage, I'll see if he wants back up and if he does I'll put him back.

Hes hanging out in the part of the cage that is about 100-103.

I should add; My mom is out trying to buy colloidal silver as I type.

That is the only thing I can think to do right now, so I'm just waiting to see if she got it, then go from there. We're also trying to get new batteries for a digital scale we have for food measurements...

More info as it becomes available.

I know those pictures are sad, but I hope you cherish them; Each time I snapped a picture, I thought I was taking a picture of his last breath... I am just glad that he is hanging in there. He is a fighter, and I really hope he has the will to pull through this one.

Thank you all for your support...

Jason, I'm just getting caught up, and am very sad about LG, please know that I'm praying for a quick recovery, we all love him.

BTW, I didn't know that Repti-aid was not good, can anyone chime in on this and let me know. I don't want to hi-jack from the importance of LG, so you can PM me about it. Thanks

If this is what you had Jason, this is a VERY good product, has saved lots of beardies. http://www.petstore.com/Fluker%60s_Laboratories_Repta_Aid_Critical_Care_Formula_Insectivore_Carnivore_Emergency_Aid_%2850_Grams%29_First_Aid_for_Reptiles-Fluker_Farms-FK73030-RPHCFA-vi.html

The colloidal silver sounds like a good product too. He certainly is a fighter and you are right there to help him in any way you can. If you can swing a vet appt, getting blood work done would probably give lots of answers.

Hello Jason,

How is LG doing tonight?
Was your mom able to get some colloidal silver this evening?
The Flukers Repta-Aid has been used for a long time, & it is very effective so if you have some definitely go ahead & use it.
Maybe try to keep him a little warmer overnight, if you can, say around 80 or so that might help his system out a little bit.

We are all thinking about you & little LG!

I really hope lg is feeling better soon n that the vet can give u some answers. An update...

We went out the other night to try to buy colloidal silver but all of the health places had closed but one. The place that was open didn't have it, they were reordering.

Yesterday, after I got home from work, I was playing with the puppy while my mom was getting ready to go to the store with me.

Long story shot, Georgia came run past me and I had my hands out; She bit my hand(accidentally I'm sure) just as I was jerking my hand back.

she shredded a good 2 inched across the palm of my hand, which promptly started to bleed. My mom heard the commotion and came out. Freaked out and called the hospital, told them I "cut myself"...

So we went down there. turns out I didn't need stitches, but if she had snagged my wrist(I mean, cut myself?) instead of my hand it would have been a different story...

Big waste of time, big waste of money...

I have an appointment for LG this weekend(I made the appointment Monday), the soonest possible slot I could get him in for.

I am going to try to convince my mom that the colloidal silver is still a necessary expense, even after my hand. She doesn't think so, but I aim to change her mind.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LG has been showing better colors, but still the abnormal behavior; Shivering head(more pronounced now), glancing from side to side and "stargazing".

He has been in warm conditions day and night(ceramic heat emmiter or basking light on one side), and right now he is actually positioned were his front half is lower than his back half(going down a lvl in his viv); That is got if it's an upper RI right? To have fluids drain toward the mouth? He isn't hanging off the edge or anything, he seems comfortable in that position so I didnt want to move him.

I have some new pics of him, but unfortunately my mom has the camera in her purse(hospital, hand, possible stitches, etc...), so I'll have to wait till she gets home to post them.

Sorry for leaving you hanging everyone, but lately the drama has been coming in family-sized value packs. If it's not one thing it's another... :|

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
