laying unfertlized eggs

Yes. All you need is a rubbermaid container with moist warm sand in it and she will lay them there. She needs a place where she can feel safe to lay them all. You don't want her to just lay a few in her cage-she can get what is called egg bound.

thank you but mine never layed any eggs a lady who was at the pet store said hers laid about 15 eggs and stated that she only had the one, I wasn't sure if beardies laid unfertlized eggs.

Ok so I have wondered this since I got Princess... How many will they normally lay? About how old will they do this? I think she is a year old now

they will lay unfertlized eggs usually during spring or summer. the amount is usually different for each female but they will usually lay several clutches

I am not sure but I hear females can lay anywhere from 15-50 fertilized eggs I can't imagine that there be much of a difference

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
