Lauan Plywood?

Does anyone know if Lauan Plywood would be safe to use for an enclosure?

I think pine and cedar are the only non safe woods.

Lauan plywood aka Luan splywood is a Philippine mahogany plywood. It is a hardwood and is not aromatic, it is perfectly safe to use for an enclosure and is quite nice looking. They only way it would not be safe is if the glue used to hold the layers together was toxic. If you're concerned about that possibility you can always put down a layer of polyurethane (let it air out with the basking lights on for about 5 days after applying the final coat of poly to get rid of fumes.
