Large enough hides for adults

I can't tell from the angle how large the entryway is? I don't have anything like this at my PetCo or PetSmart! I feel like I'm being shorted cool herp stuff!

I just came from Petsmart and saw that in person,the opening isn't as large as the opening in the one you already have.

I thought I'd chime in again Russell is an adult and the hide I posted as did someone else I feel should be ok. Give it some more time as I let Russell out daily and he usually SQUEEZES himself into his favorite spot. This spot is tighter than his hide in his viv. It is possible your dragon just needs to get used to his ne a addition. I'd try it again.

Oh I totally understand! My Buddha is a big guy and it's hard to find a large enough cozy hide! I'm using this one at the moment.

It's nice and big on the inside but the opening is about 2 1/2 inches wide. He's able to get in it and curl up comfortably. I should mention he's 19" long from nose to tip of tail. I found this at Petco in CA but it looks like it's unavailable online or they just don't carry it anymore. :/

I think I will stalk this thread and peruse its links as well... I've been running into the same problem, and my dragon is only 5mo! The breeder said he was big for his age - he was bigger than his clutchmates, minus his lack of tail - and the three petshops I've been to didn't have anything where the opening would fit him now with room to grow, either. Everything was for skinny little serpents or smaller herps, or alternately, enormous. My little guy is currently sleeping in a cardboard box (as in - one I put together out of cardboard to suit his size, not a shoebox), but in just a month, he's already outgrowing it. =\

The Giant Habba Hut has dimensions 11 x 9.5 x 5.5 inches
The XL Habba Hut has dimensions 8.8 x 7.3 x 3.9 inches

One of those might work well. The XL was big enough for Dundee to fit under with his tail sticking out.
