Glad to hear he is feeling ok. I doubt one would be a problem, but try to keep them out/away from him. They can make them sick, and the Asian beetles that look similar may be toxic if enough are eaten.
we have a big prob with ladybugs overwintering in the house. and of course they are drawn to the warmer areas, such as Vincent's enclosure. only rarely do they get inside his enclosure, but it happens. last summer he snapped one up that fell inside when I opened the glass door- i saw absolutely no ill effects… he has not tried to eat another since, tho'
they are the nastiest of bugs, not even my chickens will touch them. at the time (last summer), since i was concerned, i contacted Vincent's breeder, and he said he'd only heard of one case where a beardie had died, and that was after ingesting a significant quantity of the buggers. just keep him hydrated and he'll be fine, and probably won't try another, either...
Yeah, I read a case report of a dog that ingested a huge number and died from it. I hadn't thought that if they tried one they wouldn't again since they taste so horrible.
My parents were saying they were the asian ladybugs, but as I said, he only ate one, and he has eaten about 15 worms today. He doesn't have any stress marks, either.

yes, the ladybugs i spoke of are the asian variety- they are horrible pests in the south, especially in the winter (unless you live in a hermetically sealed home!) - thank the EPA for importing them in an ill fated attempt at aphid control back in the dark ages. re: the law of unintended consequences. oh well.
