we just fed osker a couple king meal worms a few hrs ago and hes acting a lil weird now....could they make him feel bad? hes kinda acting sluggish and def not his normal self
its a huge mealworm.....hes acting normal again....i talked to a lady at the petstore that said she gave some to her beardie that made him throw up a while back.....i think ill just stick to crix, veggies, and beardie bites for now
Meal worms are terrible feeders for bearded dragons, and superworms (which look an awful lot like giant meal worms) should only be fed to dragons over 16". How long ago did you feed him this worm? Was it just one?
Also, if the lady at the petstore really thinks that these made her beardie sick, then she should consider pulling them from her shelves!
Eh.. variety is good for them! I like to try new things, I just gave horn worms a try! They freaked me out really bad, but Blazey really loved them. Who knows..
Good luck! Glad to hear he's back to normal!
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
