I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Has anyone been able to discover a cure for keeping these little flies out? Would it help if I buried the food I give to the feeders under the bedding of their container?

I could by all means "put a lid on it" so to say, but then I fear that my supers will get VERY hot. I do keep them outside, and I live in Florida...so I feel certain I would lose most of the colony by doing that.

Anyone?

I use a clear Tupperware container that is plastic 1 with holes in the top of the plastic and 1 with the top cut out and screen hot glued around it!! Why not just bring them inside? Well good luck and hope this helps....

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
