He's not really a BIG eater at once, 4-5 supers is normal, I know sometimes that I would put worms in his dish after he would eat 3-4 in front of him and he would nibble throughout day. I bet you will find that if you do protein feeding 1x day instead of having available all day that his appetite might pick up but don't worry he's not ever been a huge eater. Can you imagine what he'd weigh if he was a huge eater?

He'd be a monster!!! What's funny is that Fez never ate much...until Fiona showed up. It's almost like he ate more because she was "out-doing" him! We'll see though! He won't touch the turkistan roaches though...not even a look.

Katrina silkworms can be difficult to find this time of year I normally order from mulberryfarms too, but have you ever looked here? http://coastalsilkworms.com/west/index.php?cPath=1 I've never ordered from them just know they are close by sorta.

Butters are decent too, my beardies like them, there's no maintenance(keep up to 3 months in frig), and they are not gross either more like a peach gummy worm.

LOL....they do look like a peach gummy worm and they have a fruity type smell to them. I believe they come from Chile and are known for being pests in the fruit crops. They have 4x the calcium amount than any other feeder and are by far the easiest to keep...no mess, food etc. Oh Mojo...strong willed dragon  I think he might be burned out on roaches because that's what he was raised on silkworms and roaches after he came home with me. Give him a big kiss for me :blob5:

Holy cow! Shipping prices are insane! I'm so afraid that it's too cold and they will end up dead if I don't overnight it but that's almost $30.00!!!
Side note...Mojo ate his silkies this morning and just ate 4 supers for me! What a good boy, looks like he's over his relocation stress :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8:

That's great that Mojo is eating for you now, you have to be quite relieved. :D I bought 250 butters from Mulberry and none of them really care for them. The silkies are all gone and the medium horns but I still have some small ones left that are still growing. I thought for sure at least ONE Of them would go for the butters!

That's a bummer! Do you pay for the overnight shipping? How long do the small silkworms take to grow big enough?

I actually got them in 2 days from CA and they were all nice & healthy. The silkies were medium sized, Giz & Misty enjoyed them so much that they went very quickly although a few did get mushy so I had to dispose of those of course.

Fiona is getting quite the belly there.

Diane none of your's will eat the butters? That's odd mine love them...but they usually like it if I let a few set out of the frig for awhile before I offer them so they are not cold and move a bit.

Katrina,
If you have the patience try getting silkorm eggs from Mulberry Farms. I always buy the eggs and then hatch them out. They take some time maybe 2-3 weeks before you can feed them, but it's worth the wait. They are cheaper, something like $10ish for I wanna say up to 1,000 eggs and you don't have to add heat to the eggs during shipping b/c you can actually put the eggs either in the fridge or freezer (I can't remember which one) to preserve them until you are ready to hatch thtem out. (There are certian humidity, temp, and time constraints on that though) I've never done that, I just buy 1,000 eggs from time to time. My Chaos really likes hornworms and once the worms get big he would only eat 1 or 2. Lucy hates them. No one here will touch butterworms either. Chaos will eat a few and then remember he doesn't like them. Lucy will not eat anything besides a roach and supers. Anyway, try the silkworms from eggs if you can wait that long. I have always had success with them. If you decide to do it and need help just let me know. :D

(Chaos is still sleeping and Lucy is thinking about joining him...that's no fun!)

I was just looking at the silkworm eggs. They are really cheap. Do you buy the chow stuff along with the eggs? Id like to find a diffrent feeder that my family will let me use besides crickets and supers. I love the idea of being able to hold them in the fridge intill they are needed too.

Your clan is looking so good. They all have budda bellys :D Mojo's gonna be a trouble maker soon i can see it in his eyes LOL Ive seen that look before. I love the picture where Fiona is wore out from all her hard work.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
