I'm so excited that tomorrow (10/13/09) my new little Beardie daughter Fiona :love10: will start her journey home! Princess Fiona was born in California,Barbara (fresnowitte) has been preparing her for her forever home in Washington. Her parents are PVT Blaze and Ms. Tiggs, some of you know her brother Bligg. I am anxiously awaiting her arrival! So without further adu, here is Princess Fiona

Sorry guys, I took a few pics of the baby toay but I'll have to post them tomorrow...It got really busy here today so I didn't get around to all I had planned. Chencho is still eating like a good little boy! He got another bath and seems to be alot more comfortable today than yesterday. I had to go buy new basking bulbs for everyone because the temps were creeping up due to the heat outside...

I know you worry about your babies badly that's what makes you such a great beardie mom. :wink:

I had to change my basking bulb wattages too...it's suppose to be 108* here today and it's humid as hell.
Yesterday was not quit that hot an I had to shut off the basking bulbs for a few minutes later in the afternoon just to allow the viv's to cool down some.

OK guys, I apologize! I've been super busy but I wanted to put a few pics of Chencho...Here is a few of him in his home! He ate 4 hornworms today and I didn't count the dubia but he's already gained 3 grams so my little big boy is 18 grams!

I hope that holds you over for a day or 2...I am hoping to have a free evening in a few days! Everyone else had a great day. All 5 of the big beardies had 2 big hornworms each plus their salad and a few supers....Can't complain about that! I may have figured out Fiona's poo problem...I think it was too hot! I lowered the wattage of her basking bulb so I'm hoping that helps her...She prefers to bask at about 99.-100 but not higher

Thanks Vicky! I love him, gosh he's so sweet! He looks so tough in the 2nd pic, with his little tail curled up and everything! He doesn't like the camera in his face!

Chencho is such a cutie Katrina! I love the "RAAAAAAWWWRRRRRR!" picture! I'm glad to hear that you might have figured out Fionas problem too. Keep in mind as they get older they don't need temps as high anymore, 100 is high enough when they are older. Hey, how is Grimm eating for you? Our little Lucky has turned into a piggy. She loves superworms, and can easily down 10-15 of the tiny ones (about 1") everyday. I think she's eating a little too much though and I think I need to cut her back a bit. She also loves waxworms, she ate 6 of those yesterday dusted with calcium. I have read where they should only eat every other day but you would swear that she was starving the way she takes food right off the tongs then looks at me like "gimmie more, now"

Thanks Barb, Jordan, Jen and Christy! He exploded his leg shed today while I was at work, he's so sweet! I'm trying to get the little booger to eat the last 2 tiny horns, they're gonna be too big for him tomorrow!!
Jordan, the scale I use is from the food section of Wal-Mart, it was under $20.00 and it's always worked well, it's digital.
Jen, Grimm only eats the small mealies so far. I've tried some dubia but they are too fast for her. I haven't tried waxies for her but I was thinkg about phoenix worms...
Christy, I LOVE Chenchitos little bobble head! He is gonna be a big beast sooner than I want!!
