I'm so excited that tomorrow (10/13/09) my new little Beardie daughter Fiona :love10: will start her journey home! Princess Fiona was born in California,Barbara (fresnowitte) has been preparing her for her forever home in Washington. Her parents are PVT Blaze and Ms. Tiggs, some of you know her brother Bligg. I am anxiously awaiting her arrival! So without further adu, here is Princess Fiona

Deb, thanks as always for the compliments! I hope that you can get Didi to gain some of his weight back before winter, I know how hard it is trying to NOT let them brumate! They don't always cooperate! All of mine are doing well except for Envy, I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to get her healthy. She's super tiny as well, only 200 grams....It's heartbreaking but I've done EVERYTHING that I can think of...Yesterday I took all of the dragons outside again for some sunshine and then bathed and weighed them. I was surprised because Belle and Fiona were heavier than I expected, Belle was 639 and Fiona was 645!!!! Belle is usually 20 more than Fi so that was a double shock! :shock: I think they're safe to brumate now! LOL! It's gonna be 81 degrees today then in the mid 70's for the rest of the week so I'm not sure that the beardies will get to go outside again this year, it was really great while it lasted though. The babies are doing well, Karma and Neo's babies should hatch within the next 2 weeks and I can't wait! I will try and get some pics soon, my thread used to have pics all the time!!!

I've been following your pics on FB and I love how well you take care of your babies. Your beardies are all so cute and full of personality. If I could make room for another I would happily make the drive from Seattle to Spokane to be able to pick one up.

I have been in Northern Virginia for the last 4 years, so this is my first year back in the Seattle area. If there is going to be one in Puyallup I'm definitely game to go! I wanted to go to Portland, but my weekend got away from me and I couldn't make it. I'm going to have to get stacking cages before I can consider another beardie. My roommate only allows me so much room in the house for my critters

Yes, it's at the Puyallup Fairgrounds on October 15-16th! I went last year too! I wanted to go as a vendor but I just don't think I can swing it....I'm takign the kids to check it out though. Last year we were there on sunday and I ended up getting hornworm and silkworm cups for $5 bucks each!

That's the perfect time to get a treat then! HA! I bet I could be convinced to hand deliver a baby for you if you had room! LOL, that would be a great place to get some new bugs for your dragons since you wouldn't have to pay for shipping! All of mine LOVE hornworms and silkworms so I'm sure yours would too!
I realized that I hadn't properly announced a few new additions! Most of you know that Crush passed away and after talking to Steve at BBD, I decided to take the replacement dragon that he offered. His name is Romeo and he's a hypo leatherback. Another new addition is Geisha, she will be a future breeder, she's also a hypo leatherback. I have a holdback male from Belle and Chencho that I've named Ryder, and a possible holdback female from Belle and Chencho that I haven't named yet...I'm gonna try and post pics but after last weeks Photobucket debacle, we'll see what happens!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Envy's not doing well, poor wee girl. What do you think is wrong, 'cause I know you've done everything possible to put some weight on her. How old is she now? I'll be praying she'll get stronger.

I think your new unnamed girl looks like a Maple. Her colors remind me of the beautiful colors the leaves turn in the fall

Kat, the first thing that hit me for your unnamed girl is "Carmelita" ~ or Carmella, she's sooooo pretty!!! Coco has been getting lots of carmel color days lately, she goes nuts to get some love, and when you take her out, she turned that pretty caramel with neon orange under her beard, with a creamy white belly.

Barb, I can only imagine those babies are hard to let go, I'd fall in love with every single one... then I'd really be dead meat!

Well, I guess you won't need to wait 2 weeks because Karma and Neo's babies started hatching today!!!! I'll post a few pics in a minute, they are STUNNING!! Super amazing!!! There are only 3 out and should be 5 more by morning!!! I'm thrilled with the colors on them already!
Envy just has bad gentics mixed with the fact that she was loaded with parasites when I got her...I guess big price tags by big breeders doesn't always mean that you get a quality dragon...She's about 10 months old and only a little bigger than Ryder who isn't even 3 months old!!

Wow, they sure are stunning. It has to be so much fun watching them run around, eat and splash in their baths. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to part with any of them though.
