Jasper jumps off his rock and his hammock all the time!
Is there a certain safe height for their jumping? He's still just a juvenile and I worry about him hurting himself.

Our Burke is a jumpaholic and as a baby it got him into hot water quite literally :shock:

He launched himself off my brothers knee straight into a freshly made cup of coffee :!: :!: :!:

He suffered nasty burns to his feet and tail and after several very worrying weeks ended up loosing most of his toes.

Did he learn anything? No way, he still launches himself off the coffee table, laps etc. and you think he would have learnt to stay away from coffee but no........

He never learns

Burke and his sister Kallie turned 7 months earlier this week. He is 16 inches long and weighs 11 ounces.

He has a bit of trouble climbing his log to the basking area so we have spiral wrapped string around the log to provide sort of steps to help him. He is an adventurous lizard.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry about Burke but I am very happy for you that he is better. How old was he when this happened? Is he gonna have growth problems as he gets older and larger? Sorry to be nosey just curious.

Betty thinks she can fly. She has tried jumping from our BED onto our dresser, that is at least 1-2 feet ABOVE the bed. She crashed and fell, of course, but it scares me when she tries to jump UP or out at least 3 feet!

Our new baby Ash would like to join. I think she has been watching Gobi and learning her tricks because now she jumps everywhere and has no fear.

just thought i'd update, even though falkor has been growing and settling down for the most part, he still thinks he can fly. today, he was sitting on my shoulder while i was working on the computer and out of nowhere, he jumped onto the desk and slid on his belly across the desk and almost fell off the end. then he got up and looked at me looking all proud of himself. he's all happy and i almost had a heart attack, lol.
