juices???

I know you can buy organic juices and water them down to give your dragons but what kind? And how watered down? Is there a certain brand to buy?

Avoid Dairy products and any Citrus juices.

Beardies are basically lactose-intolerant and they don't do well with citric acid either.

If you want to use a juice, I'd probably just stick with apple juice.

Although, honestly, water is probably your best bet and just skip juice entirely.

Oh okay. I was told that it was also possible to give them organic juices as well. He just hasn't been eating his greens or dubia much and I'm just worried he isn't getting the vitamins and stuff he needs. I thought maybe if I gave him juice it might help.

i give my dragon Leapin Lizards electrolyes. several drops once a week while he is in his bath, along with his acidophiliz. sometimes he laps it up, other times he's too busy trying to escape the tub to bother.

I would be more concerned on why he's not eating, not finding alternatives to get him nutrition. Maybe provide us a description of your setup/temps and possibly a pic of the enclosure?

i give it to him once a week because that is how often he gets his bath. you could give it more often (i was giving it to him daily when he was being medicated for parasites last year), i don't think it's possible to overdose on acidophiliz but past a certain amount they can't utilize it and it will just be passed through.

Oh okay. Well that's good to know. I was always afraid of giving too much. Maybe not realizing I wasn't giving enough?
