Jeritta's Fantastic 4

Okay I have been meaning to do this for a while now. I have never sat down and made a thread for all our babies so here it goes. I think we are stopping at 4. We'll see :?

I'll start with the oldest Gobi. She is a cuddle bunny. She loves to cuddle and loves kisses. I know there are a couple of pix on here of her giving kisses. She loves to sit on her daddy's head. There is something about all that grey hair that she just loves. She gets up there and just snuggles down and goes to sleep. She also is the neighborhood watch dragon. She watches all the cars that come and go everyday. It is really funny if a car comes in that she doesn't know she will start glass dancing. It is like she is an alarm or something that there is a stranger in the neighborhood. She has done a lot of glass dancing during Christmas. lol.
We think Gobi is gonna be a big girl when she finishes growing. We weighed and measured her yesterday. She is 8 months old now and She is 16 1/8" but she weighs 382 grams.

Next we have Amigo. He is our adventurer. When he was just 3 months old he got loose outside. We looked and looked but couldn't find him. We thought for sure we would never see him again since the weather started getting in the 30's at night. But after about 3 months a neighbor found him and brought him home. He was really cold and really skinny. We warmed him up and got him a new viv and today he is growing like a monster. When he came home it was in November and he only weighed 100 grams at 5 months old. Today he was up to 256 grams at 7 months old. So he has done well and gained well over 150 grams since coming home. He is a beautiful orange color when he is happy and shows off his colors.

Next we have little sweet Ash. Ash got off to a rough start. We found her at petco, she was on sand and was really small and skinny. she was impacted and very weak. We bathed her and syringe fed her for many many weeks just in hopes of saving her. We thought at least if she did not make it she would at least have had someone who loved her. Well as time went on she got a little stronger. Finally she began to eat a cricket here and there on her own. She would sit on our hand and never move. she is just so sweet. She still takes days where she will not eat and where she wants to only be held to eat. She is very small we think for her age especially next to our others. Ash is the quiet one she hardly ever glass dances and never gets upset. She is just very calm. She is 5 1/2 months old and is 14 1/2" and weighs 165grams.

Then there is Cadmus. He is a monster. We just got Cadmus a couple of months ago and we are still learning a lot about him. He is starting to like to cuddle more and more since he is getting a little older. He is a big boy. I think he is at least one of the biggest in his clutch. He has a pretty large tail nip but he doesn't seem to notice. He has decided lately that he is not a baby anymore. He wants to eat the big boy dubia now. He will not eat the little bitty ones. He wants to eat the big ones. He does not get the breeder size but he does like the almost grown ones. He is a very vivid orange but some yellows and cream colors are starting to show through. His hatch date is 9/10/10 so that makes him almost 4 months old. Last night he measured 9 1/8" long (with tail nip) and weigh in at 100 grams!!!

So Welcome to our zoo. We also have the 4 dogs Fancy, Doodles, Lucky and Pep. The hamsters and the fish. Then you get all the critters that run wild around here. They tend to be the really interesting ones.

And I will say it again, wow, Gobi is huge!
And Amigo and Cadmus have both grown a lot since I have seen them.
Glad that you got to get them all outside today.

I definitely just emailed those folks for a leash for our Clovis! I've never had a beardie in the summer and I want to have lots of outside time with him.
Your crew look fantastic!

Thanks everyone for the comments.
Yes, I took each out one at a time for about 25 minutes. I couldn't take all 4 out at one time by myself.

Those leashes definately work good but I think I am gonna need to get a BIGGER one for Gobi. She is a big girl. lol

This morning Ash was really feeling pretty good for a change. She ate well. She ate about 2 1/2 teaspoons of beef babyfood with calcium and beepollen added to it. That was the most she ate in a really long time. She still had to be force fed but I was able to get that much in her. It is suppose to be 70+ degrees today so I am thinking I will take her out for some sun again today. Last week she enjoyed the day we got to go out.

I may leash everyone and take them all out today.
Please everyone that is praying for or just keeping Ash in their thoughts keep doing it. She is a fighter and refuses to give up. We will keep fighting with her. She is a sweet little girl and we love her lots.

Gobi, Amigo and Cadmus are doing great and can't wait for spring and summer so they can get outside and play.

Hey! Did you get Ash outside yesterday? Did she eat for you again today? I hope so, maybe the bee pollen will do the trick!
I weighed Kimber today and was surprised...Have you weighed Cadmus lately? Kimber is 256!

Ash sure did enjoy the sunshine. I think it is helping as much as anything. The bee pollen seems to be helping some.

Yes, I weighed Cadmus this morning before breakfast. He hadn't eaten yet but he weighed 263 grams and measured 12 inches. So he is kinda slowed down for a while. I sure hope he hits another growth spell soon. I was kinda enjoying watching him get so big. I think he is gonn be bigger than Amigo.

Glad that Ash is making improvements, you're doing everything you can for her! Cadmus is still the biggest! Kimber is so close though! She has slowed down alot too, same with Karma. Does Cadmus like baths?? Kimber does but Karma has been hating them lately....lil' boogers!

Cadmus like baths okay. He likes them better if I let him take them with Ash. Then he loves them and the two of them will play in there for about 30 minutes or so. It is good for both of them. It gets them both hydrated and it gets her to be active.

Gobi loves baths and will bite you when you take her out.
Amigo likes them okay I guess but is ready to get out.

I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend and get some outside time with the beardies today ! What a lovely day ! Stitch and Sydney got to enjoy some sun today which was nice since they missed out on the warm weather last weekend !
I had been unsubscribed from your thread randomly... *sigh* I've had several threads where that's happened lately... :banghead: But hopefully we'll be good again for a while ! I loved the pics of everyone from outside ! Poor Amigo did look very unimpressed to be back outside! Hopefully after a couple of repetitions where he gets to go back inside to his buggies and blankies and he'll warm back up to going outside again!
I'm glad the sunshine is helping Ash some and she's eating more food than she was for you. I hope that will continue and hopefully we'll keep getting some decent weather down here ! :)

Sorry you keep getting locked off my thread. Hopefully it is fixed for you now.

I finally found a site to order dandelion seeds from to grow for the dragons. They also had endive seeds. I was so happy I ordered both. I got both of them and some flower seeds for $5.

Gobi is still being stubborn and not eating but 1 or 2 buggies and a nibble of salads. Amigo and Cadmus ate like champs. Ash nibbles which is an improvement.

Oh, it was tooooo FUNNY a few minutes ago. I had Cadmus in the tub. Normally he doesn't mind. Today though he was so MAD he was blackbearding and hissing and spitting. I was laughing and rolling on flooring. He was black halfway down his chest. I normally put him in tub with Ash but she had a bath by herself so he had to take one alone. He did NOT like it. I only wish I had put a card in the camera. Finally I got him out and dried him off and cuddled with him and he was happy again. He was giving kisses and snuggles.
I put him back in his viv and let him sit under his light and get warm.

silly Cadmus.. he must have missed his bathing buddy. He sounds super pissed off to be black half way down his chest ! Least he a got a good cuddle afterwards :)

I think that's great you found dandelion seeds :) I hope they grow good for you ! i always try to transplant them from my yard into a pot... and for a weed that grows everywhere.. they don't grow in my pots ! Lol
I'm planning on trying to plant some spring mix greens and some peas though Wednesday and am excited about it :) :) Hoping some stuff will grow for my dragons and us !

Sorry I haven't had time to post weights or pix lately due to my health. I have really had some bad days in last week or so. I even fell last week and laid out on the wet side walk until a neighbor happened by a while later and could help me up. So I haven't felt like posting. I will get caught up soon though I hope. I did want to post one bit of GREAT NEWS though..............

Ash is EATING on her own finally YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the last 5 days she has ate 6-8 bites of salad on her own everyday and has ate wax worms on her own the first day she only ate 3 now she eats around 7 every day. We know that waxies are bad so no one even start with the lectures. I am just happy that she has decided to eat after all these months of force feeding. We have butterworms on order that should be here tomorrow or Wednesday for her. But I had to come on here and share that she is EATING even it is so little and it is waxies it is a step. YAY!!!!! We are still adding supplements to her salad and giving some syringe feeds every few days just to get extra vitamins and calcium in her until she is eating more. But YAY for ASH!!!!
Thanks for all the prayers for her and please don't forget her.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
