Jango (pic heavy)

Hey all.. not sure who all read my introduction link so I guess i'll start by saying hi, my name is Tammy.. I'm a 38 year old, stay at home mommy of one human, my son Nathan (7yrs) and to Jango. My hubby bought Jango for me on Feb. 29, 2012 at a well known pet store near us.."Gittlers". The lady who took care of us there told us that Jango was only a few weeks old when we got him..so if that's correct he should be about 4 months old.. or somewhere around that i'm guessing. Not sure what kind of beardie he is though. He's currently in a 20 gallon reptile tank with reptile carpet and the lights that came with the tank.. I know I need to get new lights for him asap..just need the $$. He loves his crickets (dusted w/calcium 1x day) and he gets kale and turnip greens with some carrots and cucumber.. once in awhile I give him some apple, wich he loves. his basking side stays between 99 and 105 and his shady side stays about 75.

Jango loves being out of his terrarium and looking out the window, 'specially when the sun is shining and I can have it open.. I always supervise him. I don't trust him enough yet to let him have run of the house but I do let him run around on the couch and once in awhile in my son's bedroom, we block all the holes up and keep a close eye on him, a few times he'd snuggle with my son's stuffed animals and go to sleep, he even fell asleep once on the dresser behind the CD player. I can walk around the house with him hanging onto my shirt or sitting on my shoulder, wichever he feels like doing. Once in awhile I will take him into the bedroom with all the fish... yeah.. we have lots of fish.. mostly Chiclids.. 75 gallon, 55 gallon, a few 20 gallons, 10 gallons and a 5 gallon..oh also got a 29 gallon with gold fish in it.. hubby wants to get another 55 gallon and also wants to get Jango a 40 gallon breeder tank.

I uploaded all of them to my new photobucket acct. you can see all of them there.. but now that I look at them I don't really like them.. what I did was take his background from his tank and placed it on the wall above a dresser, placed his old green carpet ontop and then placed a rock or two and one of his logs.. he is laying on the rock.. but the background kept reflecting the light so I don't like how it looks on most of the pictures.. I wanted a natural looking type of background.. but I don't know.. there are 56 pictures.. I deleted some because they were blurred. The camera wanted to focus on the background most of the time.. I don't know how to work it yet.. I kept using different settings to see if it would work differently but mostly everything was the same..

Yeah I know.. I just took more pictures of him in his viv on the rock.. i can't make up my mind.. mabie i'll just forget about it.. none on my pictures look nice enough to go on the calendar anyways.. He wants landscape photos.. most of my good looking ones are portraits.. and Jango is getting annoyed with the pictures and stopped showing his happy colors
















I think I may go with this one as one of them.. what do you think?

9/15/13 Sunday 12pm

Hey all, hope all is good and well with everyone. Nathan and I went to visit my mom yesterday.. she came and got us and then brought us home again since I didn't have gas in the car and no money to get any. Today we are just staying home and being lazy.. i'm still in my PJs. Jango was hanging out on his logs today inside his viv and I thought he looked so handsome so I just had to have another photo shoot! :lol: I think I may have found a few I really like.. now to narrow it down to two.. still think i'm gonna stick with the hammock one and then pick one of these..

Thanks I have a Nikon Coolpix P510 with 42x zoom

This is so hard! I just can't decide.. I really like #5 & 6 mabie i'll forget the hammock one and just use those two? I hate having to decide! :lol:

9/16/13 Monday 1:00pm

Well another day is here.. so wish September was over.. don't really know why.. I just do. Nothing planned for the week.. so far and probably won't since I have no money. Nathan had a blast playing with Jango yesterday. I left Jango run around and it seemed as if he was actually playing with Nathan. Nathan has this big castle set my sister gave to him and he was playing with that and Jango came over and was going through the drawbridge door and and climbing over it's walls.. it was so funny to watch! Then Jango would run somewhere and Nathan would follow him on his hands and knees while pretending they were hunting down the bad crickets :lol: When Nathan wouldn't follow Jango somewhere, Jango would run back to Nathan and look at him like if he were saying "why you not come?" They played like that for a good hour or more until Jango started feeling cold so I put him back in his viv, which he didn't want to go. He ran over to the glass and looked out for awhile and then went to the place he usually sleeps, buried his face in his logs and pouted.

Zandi... I always had Kodak cameras before and I hated them so I swore I would never get another one so that's why I got the Nikon and I love it!

I sent in my two pictures for the calendar.. I just used the two I said I liked... didn't use the hammock one only because I don't think the face is real clear on it.. never thought I would get stressed out over sending a picture to someone :lol:
