Jace, Zy, Sorin, Ava, Nissa, & Koth -->Update 12-18 w/ Pics

Hello,
I'm relatively new to this website, though I have posted questions prior to this "blog." I fell in love with bearded dragons on a trip to Petco. I've always wanted a reptile and I have a dragon statue collection at home so it seemed perfect. Jace, however, was not my first beardie. My first beardie was one of the two smaller ones. The employees hadn't gotten around to putting on of the little ones up for adoption because he would have a seizure whenever he was picked up. They were pretty sure the one I had picked wasn't the seizure one. I bought him the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and am sad to say I returned him that following Monday. This one had seizures whenever he was put down. I knew, being a new owner, that it would be better for the both of us if I returned him to Petco and that was when I got Jace, the love of my life. On a side note, the two that suffered from seizures got adopted to loving homes where someone can take care of them . Anyways, on to my picture show.

This was my first night with Jace. He no longer has that cage - he is in a bigger one and on tiles instead.

The first week montage:

I loved the way he just dug a bed and curled up.

He was so little!

This is his new cage - the sand in the dig bowl has been replaced with flaxseed

I think Jace feels insulted! :lol: jk. Venser is a very striking boy and he is such an amazing boy.

LOL! :lol: My apologies Jace! There's no comparing different species. That's why I have Myah and will have a very "rare" North American, smooth scale, beardless, dragon! :shock: LOL! :lol:

I'm glad your grandfather noticed there was something wrong and got you to a doctor, this will all help you feel better. Anti-depressions can be difficult to get used to, but if it's the right pill and dose, they do wonders to elevate your mood. Depression is a chemical reaction in your brain, I can't remember the exact thing, but the right anti-depression puts it all right, so good luck and let us all know how it went with the xrays. Hopefully something that can be fixed! Rooting for you!

The pics are so cute, I love that little black beard on Jace, and Venser is beautiful, glad he's getting more used to you.

Thanks, Deb. I haven't told my grandma yet. She's one of those people that thinks everyone who is medically depressed is a hypochondriac and blah blah blah. My grandpa is thinking that I can change it by just thinking happy thoughts. If it was that easy, why would I have been having these issues since August 2012? My grandparents are frustrating people. Too old to understand/realize people have always had these problems and they are now being treated. Such is my life, another reason I want to move out.

My sister takes those. She actually had to switch to different ones because they gave she seizures. It was pretty scary! I had to watch her for a while. I would watch for any numbness

So Paul, being the greatest boyfriend ever, called out of work for tomorrow because he knows how much I hate needles. He will be giving me a ride to and from school, the doctor's office, and to wherever it is I get the x-ray. Such a sweetie.
