Loving being a beardie mom!!! This site is awesome! Meet some really nice folks and have seen some beautiful beardies!! I've taken sooooo many pics of her already....just gotta share them.....and her! Yup.....I'm a proud MaMa!! :love5:

She looks ALOT like Ember!! About same age too!! Scarlett and Fionna look alike too and are close in age!!

Breeder said dubias and crickets. I guess Fionna ate ALL the crickets!!! Just hate dealing with them. I will keep trying the worms, but if she wants crix...crix she will have!! :notworthy:

Izzy woke up today ON HER OWN!!!! She climbed up on her basking log. I took her out and gave her a good soak. Offered her greens and Phoenix worms but she still isn't interested in eating. Had her out for a while and she was active. I swear in the 5 weeks she's been sleeping, she got bigger!! How can that be if she isn't eating?!?!

Fionna is finally losing her shed. She's a bit grumpy today. She ate about 20 crix so far today. She also got bathed as she is brushing up against everything trying to loosen her shed.

While eating her crix, Oliver took notice. Ut oh.....

He can see her shadow underneath, but can't figure out how to get to her.

Oliver is a big cat. When Fionna disappears he stretches himself out and tries to look in her cage.

Izzy up and about.

I love when she is out exploring, it seems she always need to have a foot on me.

Fionna shed her back and belly today. Poor baby was a mess, running all around, scratching, rubbing. All that's left us her head and legs.
See the 13? Breeder number from her belly.

Poor baby. Looks like she had wings!!

Poor baby girl! She is going to have some great red coloring. Can't wait to see her once she is done shedding.

Did Izzy happen to see her today? If so, what did she think? Izzy looks like she was wide awake! I bet Oscar was glad to see her.

Izzy was wide awake but didn't eat. She was out with me for a while. When I put her back she went back to bed. Oliver was thrilled!!! He jumped up with me and rubbed his head on her.

Izzy saw Fionna......no reaction. Just looked at her.

They are both doing well!! Thanks for asking!! I was just gonna post some pics.

Izzy opened her eyes again today so I took her out for a bath. Took Fionna out too for her daily soak.

Fionna is sooooo active and eating well. She eats 20-25 crix a day and 10 Phoenix worms. She has gained 3 grams. She isn't as skittish when I pick her up so she is DEFINATELY getting more used to being handled. Her legs and tail are going into shed.

Fionna cracks me up when she hunts down her crix. She goes after them sooo quickly that she almost knocks herself over!! It's hysterical!! She is settling in nicely. I can't quite find that sweet spot of a temperature that makes her completely happy. She has a few stress marks. I'm determined to find that perfect temp!!!!

I weighed Izzy today too and she is 312 grams. Still doesn't want to eat, but after her bath and being out for a while, she went to her basking log and is happily absorbing some heat.

Because Izzy is sleepy, I was able to put Fionna on top of her while she was soaking. I don't think she had a clue!!!!

Oh my goodness! They are so adorable together! Fionna is going to be really red! Izzy looks like a giant compared to Fionna. I held Scarlett beside Ember for size comparison, but I'm terrified that he might think she's food! :lol:

She is gonna be red!! I LOVE her colors!!!

I started Fionna in my hand then gently out her on Izzy. I was nervous!!! Izzy is so sleepy, otherwise I don't think I would've been that brave!!!

I saw your comparison pics and all your other pics. Scarlett is really growing!!!

Silly girl.....but babies are FAST!!!!!!! I only have her out in the morning and at night and of course for her baths. I'm so nervous she is gonna spook and jump. I would NEVER catch her!!!! Fionna weighs 13 grams. She was 10 when I got her.

This one is a little blurry, but you can really see the size difference.

Lol!!! I started with Fionna in my hand and she was calm enough (for once) so I tried it. Wish my pics came out a bit better cause I doubt that will ever happen again!!!!

Been about a week since I've posted. Everything here going well. Izzy still snoozing away. She looks so peaceful and comfy in her bed.

Fionna is growing and eating like a horse!! She eats about 50 crix a day and 15 phoenix worms PLUS picks on her greens. I'm amazed how much she packs away!!! She has gained 12 grams since I got her. I did a few comparison pics of her. She doesn't even look like the same beardie received!! Her colors are getting brighter and brighter. Still a bit timid, but she doesn't run from me as long as I approach her slowly. She is quite the character!!

Here is a pic on the scale a few days after I got her and one tonight after her bath.
