Got some bad news today. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Bloodbank was unable to ship my little guy today. I'm now looking at a Tuesday ship date for Wed delivery. I'm so bummed. This was my motivation to get through the week at work, but at least now I have something to look forward to next week. I'll be taking a vacation day on Wed so I can be at home when he's delivered. Still debating on the name though.

And lol, it looks like we'll end up getting ours first after all. I just added a fake plant to the terrarium. It's not exactly "desert-authentic" but it sure looks nice!

Thought I'd let you all know that my boy will definitely be here tomorrow morning. I got the email with the tracking info and everything. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo excited. Don't expect I'll get much sleep tonight! :lol:

Well, I'm up and ready!

I slept much better than I thought I would last night. I slept straight through from about 10:30pm to 3:30am and from then on I tossed and turned until I just got up. He should be here within the next 3 hours. Which of course will be the longest 3 hours of my life! :roll:

I'm heading upstairs right now to wait for him. I'll let you know when he arrives.

I saw Khalil this morning lurking around the salad. I have my fingers crossed. You should see me trying to sneak a peek without him seeing me; I have to laugh at myself.

Awww, Steve I hope he eats his salad. I have one ready for my boy when he arrives. Not sure if he'll be interested in it or not, but we'll soon find out I guess.

My boy's still not here yet, BUT I just tracked the shipment and he is on the FedX truck out for delivery as of 8:33am. I'm expecting he'll be here very soon!
