Unfortunately, the Repti-GLO that you've been using isn't as good as a Repti-SUN. I would recommend changing the
UVB light from the Reptiglo 10 tube bulb to the Reptisun 10 tube bulb for a better UVB emission.
The Reptiglo 10 tube bulb has been known to cause eye issues or contribute to lethargic behavior. They do not emit very good UVB wavelengths & some have been harmful rays. The wavelengths are not conducive to D3 synthesis. Do you think you'd be able to exchange it?
The UVB and basking bulb should be closer to each other so he can get the benefit of both bulbs at the same time. Where he is right now, it looks like the UVB is too far away and that he is avoiding the basking spot. Would be a good idea to get a temperature gun or digital probe thermometer so you know what the true basking spot it. Does he bask much at all night under the heat bulb?
Here's a picture to help you get the idea of them being able to get the benefit of UVB and basking bulb together. You can see where the probe end of the thermometer is, the owner is testing the basking SURFACE temp which is very important. The beardie in this picture can get within 6 to 8" of the UVB while in the basking spot and can also move further away from it by going lower on the log. Also best to have the UVB mounted so that the light is over your beardies head while in the basking spot so that he doesn't have to stare into the
UVB bulb. Hope this helps clarify a little.
