I've looked into pet insurance for my animals but I've come across a couple problems. First off finding insurance in the US for exotics is difficult, and secondly you have to insure each pet independently. This is great if you live in a family with one cat or dog, but it would cost a fortune to get insurance on my 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird, 1 snake, 2 sugar gliders, and a beardie.

yea, From what i've found there's VPI and they do exotics but they really only cover emergency visits, and don't cover routine visits, checkups, and some major problems :-/, plus u have to pay at first then they reimburse u up-to 90%. And as for other animals the only ones i would need to insure would be a rabbit and my beardie.

I mean how much do you guys ussually pay for vet visits anyways? I don't know because (knock on wood) i havn't had a reason to take my little guy to the vet yet.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
