By little girl started laying just about 10 minutes ago and I was wondering if I could have some help. She's laid eggs before, and some have hatched (I sill have 5), and right now I am just wondering why she's laying them because she hasn't mated with the male since around this time last year. Is it possible for her to get pregnant that long after?

Secondly, the eggs, I noticed that they have the big yellow spot and red veins, does this mean they're fertile?

It's all odd to me seeing at it's been a year since they mated.

Yep sperm retention will make this possible, unlikely, but still possible! If they look fertile they probably are...

I have heard they can hold it more than a year. If you keep the eggs and they turn to be good than theres your answer :)
