I think the easiest way to breed roaches is to get a rubbermaid tub and a heating pad. That way there is a difference in temperatures, a warm end and a cool end.
I dont know how much they cost but i made my own and it works just as good. I got my beardie very young and started it in a 10 gallon as she got bigger i got a bigger tank and you know the cost of crickets in this economy starts to add up. so i used my sisters hamster pine bedding and put it in the bottom for substrate then i bought flukers orange cubes at petsmart for food and water and then i bought 50 large crickets and they bred in no time i also breed superworms in the same tank and they get along just fine
