check that out Dawn...i know it's not much but it's the regulations about importing animals into the US. I would also talk to the owner of the place, which i know they have Chameleons too and some GORGEOUS ones at that, and find out what airlines they go through and then talk to the airlines about any regulations they might have. go from there. that's the best help i can offer. i've never had to import an animal from overseas, but i do know that animals coming from some places, not all, may have to be quarantined. I know coming in from Italy most dogs are. I lived in Italy for a year and a friend of mine had to sell both her dogs cause she couldn't bring them with her. she was so upset!!!

I know that there is a breeder in florida that sends her babies to the UK so you should talk to her. Her site is draggintailsinc.com, she is likely to be able to answer your questions and may even be able to get you what you are after.

My sister lived over in Spain and her cats had to be quarantined when she arrived in the states. I want to say it was for a week or two.

thanks to the both of you. i actually got in touch with dept of agriculture, wildlife dept and spoke to an inspector. looks like it's going to be more trouble than it's worth, aside from all the license/permit fees , i have to file a declaration, travel back and forth to miami, possibly hire a broker , do the pick up at miami airport, go thru customs and wildlife , if the the flight that the dragon is on gets delayed and it's not business hours i have to pay the inspector on duty at the time (overtime) something like 98.00 an hour, and on top of all this--- i have to pay a flight fee (like an airline ticket !!) so, looks like i'm sticking to US born and raised beardies. lol

i did as a matter of fact, email dachiu, they haven't gotten back with me yet. so i'm looking into a leatherback or even a lavendar, they're really pretty. if you hear of any lavendars, could ya let me know. thanks again

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
