Thanks IvoryWhite :) I dust her live food in castron, and you can see the UV light in one of the pics, it i close to the branch, do you think it is close enough? Because of winter the temperatures have only been reaching about 27-29 degrees Celsius -.- I can't get it to go any higher, soooooo annoying xD thanks for all the feedback guys!! <3

Have you tried a halogen bulb or a ceramic heat emitter in conjunction with your other bulb? She's really cute... :love5:
Good luck with her!!

Spitfyre........I'm sorry, I have no idea what those bulbs are xD I am very new to reptile owning, I have never had one before so I am not used to all the items xD
Do you think she will be alright until the cold weather goes away? :\ I thuoght it might be alright because in winter they normally hibernate... but I am trying to keep the heat up.

I'm glad you think she is cute :3 I love her soooo much, and I'm also looking for a male to keep her company. :) I hope I can find a cheap red one her age, because I wanted to get a colourful one. She is normal coloured, but do you think she might have brighter colours when she is older? like maybe yellow and/or orange?

A ceramic heat emitter is basically a heating coil that you screw in to a lightbulb socket. They emit heat- no light, like the heating element in an electric oven. You haven't seen a halogen lightbulb before? Like in a hardware store...? They're the shiny cone-shaped incandescent bulbs. Ah! No no no no! Beardies aren't social animals at all- they are loners. If you kept them in the same tank, the female would get stressed because of overbreeding. Even if they were next to each other, they'd get stressed. You need it so they can't see each other.
Try to keep the heat up. She's too small to hibernate (btw- the term for reptiles is "brumate" and pregnant is "gravid". Just saying:)
It's possible that she turns out colorful, but if you got her from a pet store, she could also be your little brown baby.

Oh, sorry! I didn't mean it like that! I just meant to say that sure, you can have two, just don't house them together or let them see each other. (Stacking them should work) :D

Haha, that's alright cause my original plan was going to be housing them together because I don't think I can afford another enclosure, especially after the one I just bought is black with mold :((((

The one that she is in at the moment is a glass aquarium and the one I bought is timber with a glass panel for display at the front...

Yeah, who'd you get the new one from? Mold can't be good for beardies. Take pictures, scrape off the mold, and document the damage. you might be able to replace it or at least get a refund.

I got it from a lady, it wasn't a buisness or a shop so I cant really refund... there is way to much mold to scrape off. The back wall is almost completely covered in the black mold, and so is the outside back wall. It is spreading onto the roof. Also because it is timber, the mold has gone right into it, and the only way to try get it out would be by bleaching it, but if I did that and put the lizard in, it would kill her. :( Im going to have to try replace the back wall somehow :banghead:

Yeah, replace the wall. What you might try doing is posting some pics on the DIY section of the forum, and seeing if someone can help you out. Good luck! (Actually, you CAN bleach it. Just make sure to wash it really well afterwatds until you can't smell the bleach anymore. Then it's safe. :D )

Do you think that will work? Bleaching it? I don't think it will get it all out. I'll see if my uncle can help me :) thanks for your advise <3

Yeah. Bleaching is how lots of people here clean cage furniture, but I don't think it kills coccidia. Get her checked by a vet, just in case. :D

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
