i need to raise the humidity in the roach bin so do not have to mist have water crystals but the bin is still dryer than the room so i am thinking that a zoo med reptifogger would work on a timer. :) room humidity 35 to 40%

some people put containers of water with a lid with little holes in it to help out with the humidity.

Have you closed off most of the vent(s) in your bin? That's the best way to raise the humidity. Are you having problems with incomplete molts or dropped egg sacs, or why do you think you need to raise the humidity?

OK. Don't worry about it. The screened vent everyone tells you to have for your dubia bin is primarily for letting moisture escape. Dubia will create quite a bit of humidity on their own. (All that dried poop was once moist.) Cover up about 90-95% of your vent. It will help keep a little heat in, too.

When I first started a colony, I kept hearing warnings to get the fruit out before mold would grow on it. Well, my fruit dried out well before there was any chance for mold to grow. The low humidity was never a problem with the colony.

yea alot of people have huge screens over there bin. I just have like 5 4inx4in screens on mine located in different spots. And if the humidity is to low i cover some of the screens till its higher.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
