I have an 18month-ish beardie.
I know I should feed veggies daily, but do I still feed insects daily like when he was younger?
Maybe 10 medium roaches and a hornworm or a couple superworms per day?
At his age, he is essentially an adult, it is recommended to slowly decrease their protein
levels at or around a year or shortly thereafter when their growth slows down. I usually
recommend around 40-50 insects weekly (not set in stone) so you can focus on a higher
ratio of greens instead.
Is he eating greens at all?
So, overall, you just need to cut back a little bit but definitely not too quickly, just slowly.
