i keep nef out until he starts getting annoying. he snuggles up on my chest while i play games but he starts to crawl up my shoulder onto the chair, then he starts falling so i put him back so i can play games XD. but overall i say hes out for about 3-5 hours a day.

Ok thanks cuz frank is out about 1 hour and starts to get cold so I put him back plus why is he scratching the glass again?

Because he wants out. if hes scratching just take him out. his tank is right next to my bed and im usually on said bed, and when he crawls to the tank and falls on the floor (its like 6 inches max off the ground) i put him back.

You can have them out of the viv as long as they haven't eaten or if they have eaten allow at least two hours of basking before handling them. I typically don't take my dragon out if he is basking. I only take him out if he is running around or not on his basking log. Other than that as long as he seem okay with being out (not stressed or scared) and its above 65-70 degrees he can probably be out for an hour or two. I don't have my guy out for more than an hour a day but that's because I just moved and he seems a little stressed right now.

I let Monti out of her viv when she scratches on the glass. As long as she is active (sometimes she runs laps around the house), I let her stay out. When she finds a corner and appears to be "napping", I put her back. I took her out a couple of times just because she hadn't been out for over a day, and she just went and stood under her viv, so I put her back. Some days, she wants out 4-5 times a day. As long as your dragon is getting a good amount of basking time, they can be out as long as they are active.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
