How long is the laying process?

I have had a rescue, about a month, and she started acting nuts!!! I figure out it was because she had eggs, and needed a lay bin, so I set that up for her. Within an hour we saw her drop a couple of random eggs. (non fertile) By the next day she put out the first bunch, covered them up. She has laid a couple more random eggs. She has been in her lay bin since Feb 9Th. How long do I leave her in there? I think she is done, but she is not perky yet, and I have been giving her liquid calcium. I also gave her a bath, and she is eating, but this dragon was eating while laying eggs, so go figure? I know this dragon is not in the greatest health, and she has been treated for pin worms, and coccidia. She just took her last dose of panacur on Feb 9th. She has not had a bm since then, to take to the vet to see if it is clean. Also, her lay bin and her viv are both set up to the exact specifications on this site. I am completely willing to take her to the vet, I just do not want to bother her to much if she is still busy. Please with this info tell me any and everything I need to do. I got 3 beardies in less than a week, about a month ago, and having been dealing with a LOT of medical issues, with the dragons, and I do not have the experience to cope. The closest reptile vet is 2 hours away, my dogs vet is willing, and knows some things, but is not an expert. Thanks, Wanda

Hi Wanda....every dragon is different, most will lay all their eggs at one time, taking about 1-2 hours average. The number of eggs per clutch can vary GREATLY I've had as few as 12 and as many as 39 in one clutch. Some dragons will drop eggs around like your girl has done, but she is probably [ hopefully ] done. If not, you can still take her out of the lay bin since it may be too cool for her to be in there for an extended period and she needs to come out and bask so as not to develop a respiratory infection from being too cool in her condition. She may drop a few more in her tank, but that's fine. Hopefully she will not retain any and will get through this just fine. That''s great that she's eating, feed her a couple times a day so she can gain back her healthy weight [ or get to a healthy weight now ] and it's great that she's getting liquid calcium. Give her a daily warm soak but not too late in the day, you want her to be completely dry before she goes to sleep.

Thank you AHBD, she is resting in her viv, under her light, and ate 20 phoenix worms, and 10 supers, and she has her greens in there for when she gets ready for them. My next question is about her lay bin. I know I have to sift all the eggs out, but can I reuse the sand? Her sister may lay eggs as well, do they each need a separate bin? I am really thinking about tossing this batch of sand, because of the recent treatment for worms, and parasites, but after they are well, will I need to be that cautious?

It can be reused if none of the eggs busted [ once in a while they scratch + bust 1-2 of them when covering them up ] But if you fear transmission of parasites, you can dump it and get some fresh for your own peace of mind.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
