How long before roaches start producing?

It has been a month or so and nothing so far

Take a step back and look at your husbandry. Is the temp warm enough, humidity correct about 50%, proper diet and are you ratios correct?

Humidity is 55% temps are 90-95 (I live in FL and the bin is in the garage) being fed chow, kitty food and also fresh oranges.

Are you just feeding kitty chow of did you also add anything in their? Their diets are hard to mimic from the wild. You need to make sure that their protein is a bit higher. I sell the chow made in house that their diets lack. Just let me know. Hope this helps....

Give them some cantaloupe. I swear it is like an aphrodisiac to roaches. It took my colony roughly 2-3 months to get started. Leave the frass in the bottom. They babies use it to hide.

Start feeding oranges twice a week. It is a roaches Viagra. :wink:
