how do i get my beardie to eat his veggies???

he pretty much only eats carrots and apples. everything else just gets ignored...

Can you put some worms in with the greens? He may accidentally eat some while hunting a worm and realize he likes them.

It's all I could think of other than sometimes trying to hand feed a piece. My adult dragon won't eat his veggies either. (and will only eat worms if handfed to him). Good luck with it!

damn, i just dont know what to do, because it cant be good for him not eating his greens...

If he is eating something veggie wise, can you put a little something good on top? Like some veggie babyfood? I am no help, I know. I tried everything I could think of myself.

thats maybe a good idea, or put some on his crickets and worms...

You're welcome. Also feeding the crickets greens and veggies before feeding to the dragon. What they eat, he will eat.

Hey there,

Its always good to try variety. Some dragons ignore most veggies, then you offer them a new nibble to try and BAM they love it.

Id also try some highly fragranced veggies like rocket or watercress. They are very strong smelling and may peek his interest.

My boys favourites are:
rocket
butternut squash
sprout leaves (a treat)
blueberries

um, wel i feed him crickets, the smallish mealworms, and now i have started him on large meal worms.

as for how old he is, i am actually not sure, because i got him from someone who moved overseas. but i THINK he might be around 9 months old... but i am honestly not sure...
