All I know is my beardie loves them. He gets them as a treat. Do not use wild caught ones since their natural diet is apparently toxic to beardies.

They have no exoskeleton, and very high in moisture/meat and I think have pretty good calcium levels.

I think the main problem as a staple is the costs... they are pretty expensive when compared to other feeders...

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
