Ok I separated my adult dubias because I was almost out of nymphs. I got some more nymphs at the reptile expo to day so I went to combine them and this is what I found

Now I have seen them mating and I have seen the pop out the egg sac before pulling it back in, I have seen them drop thier egg sac at the end of thier lives. I have even seen them back in to the egg crete and seen the babies coming out. But I have never seen this? What is it?

Holy mold batman, I would get rid of it ASAP.

Looks like the roach just dropped the egg sack, nothing to worry about.

Already gone I go thru it every two days and pull out moldy or eaten oranges. We mold really fast here. I have to even keep my bread in the fridge. Add heat and mold grow over night!

Thats really scary.. I would change food every single day if you have issues that bad. That much mold on a citrus pieces of food is outrageous.. I'm glad they even survived lol.

you might need someone come and look at the mold mold should not grow that fast. Your house might have mold in it that is why it is growing so fast.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
