Could anyone possibly tell me how you get the end bit of a link such as this: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=95162&hilit= to work instead of having to write all of this: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=95162&hilit=

hehe. yeah... it's an automatic thing the forum software does to shorten the display of links that are within the forums.

One thing you CAN also do with any link is use the URL tags. it requires typing more, though. But you can make any word clickable that will take someone to the link... like this..

The code for that look like this (with square brackets instead of curly ones):
{url=http://www.beardeddragon.org/}like this{/url}
