Hello,

I am sorry to hear that Willie did not make it. The toxins were too much for him. Activated charcoal may have helped but it has to be given almost immediately to stand a chance of helping with toxins or poisons.
I am sorry for your loss.

Good post wingedwolf. I was going to ask if she noticed if the "frog" was smooth or bumpy looking. If bumpy looking it would have definately put a different spin on things. I also think an obstruction would not likely have caused death in 1 day. Even though not good for the system, I have known and heard of beardies who have gone up to a month with an obstruction or impaction, functioning slowly and not eating after a period because of the fullness, but have survived it.
