She is very pretty! If you don't find the UVB tube locally, try Amazon or Josh's Frogs (where the Amazon one actually comes from anyway). They ship very well-packaged so the bulbs arrive safely. Good luck with everything!

Sometimes I hate living in such a rural place. Even petco rarely has the reptile supplies I need. Ended up ordering uvb online. At least I was able to get some calci worms local.

My little monster is getting stronger every day. She is starting to run and leap on her cage decorations.

She still hates me and lets me know every time I pick her up. Gives me a good view of her teeth and tongue though, little brat.

Roaches are a no go. Forgot how allergic I am to dubia, almost needed a ER trip. They are gone now. Hissers aren't a issue but they don't breed fast enough to be good feeders.
Looks like I might need to start raising silkworms again.

Hello,

Yeah, it is hard finding a lot of things in petstores nowadays. It seems like just about
everything you have to order online. We live rural also & it does make it really hard to
find things!
How are things going with her now? It sounds like she is doing well & is staying active.
I think eventually she will get used to you. Silkworms would be a great choice, too.

Fun times. What about discoids or red runners - are you allergic to those as well? I think discoids are about on par with dubia as far as raising a colony. I hope your adorable little brat decides to show you some love soon. :-D

Some days are better then others. Yesterday was a very inactive day and I couldn't get her to eat more then a couple bites. I've taken to poking greens in her mouth every time she tries to bite.

@JumpinJellyfish
also allergic to discoids and lobster roaches. Red runners are ok but I can't get them to breed, I've tried starting colonies multiple times with no luck.
