Heating/Lighting adjustments

I saw on retileuv.com a lighting option that started to make me think. It was suggested to use a 60W EB light kit along with a 40-60W regular bulb. The MVB emits enough UVB for the beardie but not necessarily enough heat. Use the MVB full strength and then setup the regular 40-60W bulb on a dimmer to have heat adjustment. This sounds like a really safe way to do things. In Manitoba we get everything from -45 to +35 degrees celcius (about -50 to +90 F) so it made me start to think. I was wondering if people make adjustments to their MVB setups for the different seasons? Yes we have heat and central air :D but in the summer our A/C is set at about 25C and in the winter our heat is set at about 20C. That's a 5 degree difference and we don't want to cook our beardie in the summer. :) So...just wondering what people do or if they even need to make adjustments for the season changes? Thanks.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
