just noticed today that dino is rubbing the bottom of his head on his basking log, not sure if this is normal? He does not appear to be shedding, do they normally start at the head when shedding? i did feed him some squash baby food and may not have got it all off, do you guys/ladies think maybe he is just trying to rub it off? not trying to be a worry wart but ive only had him about a week now still kinda get freaked out and want to make sure he is ok. On a good note, he is a smart little guy, i was watching him bask and all the sudden he like laid from one branch and sprawled over to the other(in my head i was like what the heck is he doing), came to find out he had to poop and didnt want to mess on his log lol.. i found that quite funny

I would say just keep an eye on him. The squash on his chin may very well be the reason he was rubbing his chin. All beardies shed in different patterns.

On this website, we're all worry warts, at least most of us newbies start off that way. Looks like you're fitting in perfectly!

Haha. Brutus does this too! He hangs off the log to do his duty. Did he glare at you afterwards? "When are you gonna clean up after me?!" hehe.

haha yea he just sat there and stared, then watched me open his tank and remove it and wipe it up. We also found another funny thing he does. While im holding him my girlfriend with get right in front of him and move her body from side to side, after a few seconds he starts doing the same thing, looks synchronized. He also does it now while hes in his tank. The little bugger wont do it for me just her, hope it dont get to the point where he thinks im invading his territory lol

haha. You better watch out. He might have a crush on your girlfriend. If you're not careful, he'll steal her away while you're not looking!

Yeah, today I was shaking the roaches in the plastic bag, and Brutus's head was shaking along with it- up and down, side to side. It was hilarious.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
