Hey Jess, Maybe Iadopt is the same person/people? I am beginning to think they all have multiple perosnalities.
I have never had mine on sand but have rescued one that was on sand from petstore who we had to syringe feed
and she was full of sand her first few days here all she did was poop sand. it was terrible.
for the OP I would divide the tank and that way you could put more than one beardie in it and cutomize each side the
way you want it. just my opinion though.

Just because you own a reptile house or whatever you called it doesn't mean your a specialist.

Someone should make a bearded dragon knowledge quiz that they can give to people so people on this site will know if the person who is giving advice can be trusted. Another forum I go to (not on the subject of beardies, or animals for that matter) has a system like this and it works great.

This is the exact reason why I am making my site, so people like this who are spreading bad advice on pets wont be trusted or given the time of day. I'm sick of people losing pets because of this problem with misinformation being spread around.

we have a similar thing set up where people can email in caresheets or information they think should be added. We have a little form set up for people to email, and anything that comes through will of course be verified before being added to the site.

The spammer I was talking about before was "Maytes". IDK if they are the same person, but it seems all of the annoying troll-like members are, like, REALLY pro-sand and freak out at you if you use anything else, but have nothing to back up their arguments with. They cant spell or type well weither. So who knows.

I think I quiz-type of think would be a good idea. Like, should have to fill something out about how they take care of their beardies, and it should be put on theor profile. So if you arent 100% sure on the advice someone gives you, you can check out the rest of their care and see if its "good" or not. It would be helpful too for people who have sick beardies... Instead of asking 100 questions about their set up, you can just check out their care quiz on their profile, and see what is wrong with their setup.

Would be helpful for people with sick bearded dragons but people who troll would just lie. Kind of like that guy up there. So its a good idea but wouldn't work for what you want it to.

but a troll might very well know the right answers and answer them all correctly but then turn around and spread the bad advice. most trolls i've seen do know what's correct and they start up arguments using information that they know will get people riled up.

Really though I don't care who he is I am just tired of all the arguments and bickering. This is not the place for it.
The forums are for people to come and get GOOD information to HELP them with their Dragons and their Vivs and
other questions they have. Not to argue and fight and see who can have the most posts in a month or how many
people can share one screen name and post under it or anything else. it is here for help and for many it is here
for friendship and communication. So lets all try to keep that in mind and stick to the posts and not the games
unless you are on the games threads.

Well if this is true, having the name of "reptile specialist" you should probably be more professional and learn how to spell. (Step 1)
Step 2, learn your facts before you go running around telling everyone what to do. I dont care how many females to males to whatever are in the cage, i dont think they should be housed together, and about the sand, never ever. Soo... In conclusion, spelling and more research would be your best bet.
