Hatchrite vs. Vermiculite?

Which one do you think is better and why?

I use Hatchrite at the moment...but it would be interesting to see what other's say as I think Vermiculite might hold moisture better.

I use the Vermiculite and yes it does seem to hold water better.

Tell me how it goes cause I'm interested in using Hatchrite. I don't want to deal with the ratios. Think you could tell me how your eggs hatch?

Its simple
Hatchrite is a reptile product that costs more than vermiculite which is a garden product.
Ive always just used vermiculite. Its cheaper and I rarely have humidity issues.

I am currently using hatchrite, but I am also an avid user of perlite which is basically the same thing. I have never had a problem with mold, and rarely ever loose an egg except for infertile ones. I actually use a hovabotor which I filled the bottom around the water channels with perlite which you can purchase from home depot or lowes. I wet the perlite in the bottom weekly and keep a constant humidity level of 90%.

My eggs look fantastic!

If you add the right amount of water you should notice the gel swelling out between the white gravel of the hatchrite.
