probably a stupid question but why do you have to grout the styrofoam when making hides?

It makes it look like a rock and not a styrofoam blob

Plus it solidifies it so that the Beardies do not tear it into little balls of styrofoam which they can injest and have cause issues.

couldent you just put a couple layers of sealer on to do the same thing ?
